Thought I'd start a new thread for this, since the MN area thread got a little crazy :laugh: and the meet info will be easier to find in this thread.

So here it is: There will be a Minnesota TGP meet on Saturday, July 7th, 2007. This will take place in Stillwater, MN since it seems to be equal distance from each MN member. Exact location has yet to be determined, but this thread will be updated frequently. Anybody who would like to come- send me a PM, I can give more info as needed. ;)

Go to: http://maps.google.com , click on "Directions" and copy and paste the following text into the second space (the "TO" location) :

Enter your address in the first field and click "Get Directions."

So far, we have Dark Ride, Grinders 18, and myself for sure. FutureTGPer and SilverTGP may be coming, but not sure yet. Just let me know guys. No rush, the meet is in 5 months, 30 days. ;)

Alright, looks like the weather might finally get better soon. I'm getting pumped for the meet! Like it's already been said, TGP Nick and myself and organizing it, and we'd like to keep up to date with suggestions,concerns, and any ideas anyone has! There's been talks of maybe doing a cruise to another town if something's going on that night...Or we can keep it down for a grill out in Stillwater...it's still in the air!

Anyone ever go drag racing at rockfalls raceway in wisconsin? Its about 1hr and 20 minutes or less from minneapolis.

Yesterday, Kyle and I went and scoped out a location- the new meeting spot will be in Taylors Falls, at the rest stop and at the drive-in restaurant next to it. This is all right next to the St. Croix river. Kyle should be posting up pics of our mini-meet yesterday within the next day or so...

2 months, 2 days....

I was thinking of coming but I mapped it out and it's a 6 hour drive from Milwaukee... That's a long ways to go. How many people are going to be there? Is Jeff M coming? I thought he lived right in Minneapolis.

So far there will be 3 TGP guys there, as well as 3 other W-body people.... more may be coming also...there are 2 other TGP guys that may show, but they weren't sure....
No, Jeff M. won't be coming- I have been trying to contact him since last September, and I haven't heard from him since last August. So he won't be there.
As it looks right now, this will be a good meet! Its gonna be fun! ;)

Well the meet went very well. It was 103* outside with sunny blue skies and no clouds anywhere; couldn't have asked for a nicer day! Only 4 people actually showed up out of the 10 that were supposed to come, but oh well- it was fun. :icon_cool: Here are some pics from the Red W-bodies That Actually Showed Up Meet lol. :laugh:
