Post by: tommy77459 on June 10, 2002, 07:20:33 AM
Have a 90 TGP with under 60K miles, garaged, red with tan leather interior, all goodies including CD and heads-up display. Will consider any legitimate offer.

Title: Vehicle Condition, manuals, etc.

The vehicle is in good condition, but will require tune-up, fluid replacement, etc. I suggest that any buyer have the vehicle inspected by an independent party prior to purchase. I have all the original manuals, two keyless entry/alarm transmitters, original mats, cargo net, etc.

Price is negotiable.

I guess what I'm asking is:
1. Is the car in excellent condition or the kind of condition you would expect from a less than 60k mile car thats 12 yrs old? Leather still in good shape. Paint and body in very nice shape with no abnormal wear.

2. Are you the original owner? Any records of maintenance?

3. Tune up? Does the car run properly or does it have drivability problems? What makes you feel it needs a tune up other than it hasn't had one in years.

4. Are there any fluid leaks? Does the trans shift smoothly and do all options including the air conditioning system work? Any brake warning lights on?

5. Price is negotiable? Is it negotiable from lets say $2,000 or from $10,000. You must have an idea of an asking or starting price. Afterall it is a rare car.

If you're not interested in giving a detailed description of the car, then do
you have photos of it? Texas is a long way from Georgia but not near as long as it would be for a real dissapointment of a car. 60k miles means nothing unless its been somewhat cared for. Was it garaged?

Thanks

Rick...

Very well put. I think this should be a normal format for people coming to the site just to sell their cars. What do you think Waskie?
