Just saw this...wish it didnt need work. GREY LEATHER interior! :icon_twisted:
Oh wow, the gray is nice. I've only see the brown. I think a black/gray would look really nice.
Looks awesome! :icon_twisted:
Actually i think i like the tan leather better for some reason. Maybe because that is all i see and it kind of grew on me?

x2- grey leather is cool and rare, but IMO I think the tan interior looks AWESOME when it is clean, not sunburnt, and not ripped. Tan interior in great condition FTW IMO anyway.
You guys both must be on crack. The tan in these cars makes me want to puke....
Re-read my post: if you have ever seen a tan interior in really good condition, they look GREAT. And no, I'm not on crack. :icon_rolleyes:

meh...I've seen them in great condition......they still don't do much for me.......Grey leather FTW!!
Meh to each his own.
The grey leather looks cheap, its too bright, looks bad to me. I like the Tan better, and the Charcoal is better than both, i would rather dark charcoal out of a GTP.

Sorry I miss this post, but they say its never to late. Bake82 you know what the grey leather good for, just like you said FTW meaning FOR THE WASTEBASKET :puke: cause thats exactly where it would go if was in my car. I seriously believe the guy that chose that color was fired the next day :new_all_coholic:,as soon as the production manager laid eyes on it. Cause they sure didn't make very many of them. :deal:
That is the wrong Grey Interior in that car or they bleached the coloring somehow. The Grey leather in TGP's has the two tone like the tan. Dark colored in the center areas and light grey cloth on the outside.
ya baker saw my mint black on tan leather tgp (now 93luminaz34"s) and ive seen a red on tan and i definitly dont like that combo, the black gray is alright i guess...
but :) lol
black on charcol for the win ;)
also that interior looks 100% corrrect to me

x2- The interior in my 90 SE looks exactly the same... except much cleaner and not ripped :icon_cool:
That car is the exact clone to mine, except the paint on that one is better, and my interior is better, and mine RUNS!!

My sentiments exactly. Even though I generally would prefer something other than tan, that light gray just looks EXTREMELY cheap to me. I'd take a mint tan interior over that any day in this era of GPs. And of course, the charcoal gray is better than both, which is exactly what's going into the TGP if I keep it (have had the complete interior for about 3 years, now). :icon_twisted: ...

just remember im pretty sure im the originaror or the charcoal tgp interior, but a red on charcoal would be nice
You may have beat me to installing one in a TGP, but I got locked in the junkyard to obtain that interior almost 3 years ago (right after I had gotten the car). :icon_wink: I posted about the incident because I was so pissed right after it happened. I just haven't had the time to install it, and more importantly, have been 99% sure I'm selling the TGP for almost a year, now. :icon_cry: Otherwise, I had a whole red and graphite gray color scheme planned out for the TGP for quite some time.
ahhh man that was a funny story about you getting locked in the junkyard for the nite
i remember that post :icon_razz:
LOL thats awesome
Almost 3 years ago to the date...

Well I can laugh about it now, but it sure as hell didn't seem funny at the time. :icon_eek: The more I think about it, the more I realize finding this interior was a small miracle. Dark gray leather, which is damn near impossible to find to begin with, COMPLETELY in tact, AND virtually mint, even the driver's seat?!?! Unreal.
Can I buy that interior off you since you arent going to use it now?? :)
Well then I guess the 4 different Grey interior coupes I saw had the wrong interior then... :icon_redface:

Well....I'm not ready to let that interior go just yet. There is still a slight chance I may hang on to just the TGP, and keep it on the backburner as a project. Even if I DO get rid of the TGP, I still fully intend on buying one when it's more suitable to do so, at which time, I would most definitely like to still have that interior around. :icon_mrgreen:
