I bought a two stage boost controller from www.boostvalve.com.
It consists of a MBC, solenoid, and all the need wiring, hoses and clamps.
This way I can run stock boost control OR MBC at the flick of a switch (Aurora shift knob w. Performance shift button)

Sweet- how much did that cost? Driven it yet with that on?
it was $75 USD I think.
I drove with it tonight and it worked well.
Any noticeable seat-of-the-pants difference?
Big off the line difference, fast spool up.
Hey Matt,
Got the installation guide on how to install that? It's the same one I have but I have no clue on how to install it.
Thanks!

Yes I have the install guide, but no way to scan it. Try www.boostvalve.com for an online version.... If not, I'll try and hook you up.

Thanks, they are a cool little added touch.
Exactly what I plan on doing. I bought a switch on ebay a while ago, it's a Volvo switch that has ECON/SPORT on a rocker switch and WINTER on a momentary button. I plan on doing a 3 stage actually. But like everything else, it won't happen for a while. Getting it legal comes first.
cool man, my Aurora shift knob works good. It says TRANS, with PERF and NORMAL above and below it.
I got a sticker that says BOOST that I put over the TRANS

Pics?
hmmm, I have an aurora shift knob, too. Jay's other car had a rocker switch on it, but this would seem to make more sense... yeah, get some pics, I wanna see
I guess it says POWER not PERF.....anyways
If I cover the wires with some loom it will look better.......They aren't THAT noticable in person.

Don't care for that shifter knob, but do like those floor mats those look real nice :icon_cool:
I like the Aurora knob, and the handiness of the boost button, but the Aurora knob is a love it or hate it piece.
As for the mats, I bought them brand new at my GM dealer last spring.
A) I need to get my carpets shampoo'd  and B) my knob is graphite, but I think my interior for a while is going to be a little more two tone, since I had a spare set of pretty good graphite floor mats and junk. either way, that looks pretty good, but what's more is that it's functional.
ah ha, had a pic of mine when it was on for a few days before she was running
