Title: surging
Post by: silvertgp on May 13, 2007, 08:32:43 PM
i replaced the stock turbo with a gt2871r, 56 trim, .86a/r and a to4e compressor housing.  My car surges real bad with anything less than full throttle.  I have a Jeff m chip in it.  I did not notice the surging with my old stock turbo.  But the car did sit for awhile between the swaps. Is this a chip issue?  So far I replaced tps sensor, and the o2 sensor.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm willing to bet your injectors are bad

Could either be a chip issue, or a injector. This is a good one for invasion or Kenny to comment on..

I going to call needing a new chip.

My injectors all were replaced with new 22lb bosch style, less than a year ago, less than 100 miles ago.

I took the upper intake off and checked my injectors, all at 15.  As far as leaking they held steady at 42 psi for 10 minutes

15 ohms? What exact injectors did you buy? Those are getting up in the areas of high impedance injectors.

I bought them from Marren Performance.  They are a Bosch style injector, I'll have to through my reciepts for part numbers.
