Title: Upstate NY
Post by: meltboy11 on July 06, 2007, 07:55:02 AM
Hey, I am finally puttin the TGP on the road in a couple weeks, got past the salvage inspection yesterday, and I will have my title in about 2 weeks. I was just curious if there was anyone in the upstate NY area, near Utica, that got together or anytihng anywhere. I would love to meet some other people who love Grand Prixs as much as I do... :)
Car still needs some TLC, but at least I can finally drive it..

I'm in Binghamton, at least a couple hour drive for me, but unfortunately I think I either need yet another new battery or an alternator, thing quit on me a couple weeks ago and I haven't touched it since.  I need to get on that someday.

I'd be down for a meetup, im in Albany,  My TGP will be done in about a week.
ANYONE ELSE DOWN FOR A MEET?  I think the most TGPs were actually sold in NY state.  could be wrong.

I grew up in Lake George. Too bad I am 1900 miles away or I would borrow the Prototype TGP for a visit.

For that, I would even consider going... (coming from St Louis, thats quite a drive...)

idk... I know binghamton is about an hour and a half from me or so, as is Albany, closer to an hour I think... I was lookin at the upstate NY club grand prix website, and they are havin a meet at Letchworth State Park in august... I think that is pretty close to binghamton, but not too sure.... I don't mind makin a drive if there are some people that would like to get together somewhere... or maybe we could meet up there... :)
This is the link to the meet they got goin on... http://forum.unycgp.com/unycgp/viewtopic.php?t=5020#51495 (http://forum.unycgp.com/unycgp/viewtopic.php?t=5020#51495)

I was in binghamton a month ago when i bought my TGP. The guy was from PA and met me in binghamton. I should have the car on the road tuesday as long as i dont run into any more problems. I didnt know there were quite a few tgps in NY. Im out near buffalo and i only know of one other one around here. Do you guys all store em for the winter or do any of you drive them year round?
