Title: Flashing ANTI-LOCK light????
Post by: Prospeeder on July 23, 2007, 10:51:16 PM
I stopped at Burger King today, and all of a sudden my ANTI-LOCK light was flashing at me, non stop, brakes worked perfect, the acumulator came on ever 3 pumps. I turned off the car, and restarted it, and the light was gone, and hasnt came back tonight, what gives? Whats it mean when its flashing??

Flashing usually means the accumulator is dying.  If it is flashing, that means the system works, but something is starting to go wrong.  Could be a wheel speed sensor or dying accumulator, but you said the pump ran every 3 pumps...(3-5 is normal.)  I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens again IMO.

it was just trying to freak you out so you would leave the BK without purchasing that horrible food.

My old TGP used to do that all the time, the accumulator was from prior and it didn't seem to solve my problem.  I never got around to fixing it though.
