Well gents I have finally gotten some time to work on the Prototype TGP again.
I pulled the chip and did a read. On the chip was a hand placed sticker. It said, "For information contact Jeff Midaugh for precise engineering specifications" :icon_eek:
   :bonk:
:joke:
oh man I had to do that!!! Sometimes I crack myself up! :icon_mrgreen:
Well it did have a hand placed sticker...but on the sticker it said 3.1L Federal Standards Version V (5).
I did a compare to my chip and CRAP!!! It is a severely toned down chip...obviously not the race chip! :icon_evil: I am a bit bummed about this...but honestly I think I have reached the safe limits anyway on a "factory" TGP/TSTE 3.1L Vin V.
So anyway...I will be putting my HOT Tune chip in it and dialing away on the dyno to get her to max power again. I know the tranny in this car can handle damn near anything I could possibly throw at it, so I will keep all informed as the tuning progresses. I should be able to throw her on there the beginning of next week.
tah tah for now...Kenny :icon_cool:
Very cool, Kenny! Thats too bad the original chip was gone... I was looking forward to hearing about it!

LOL I was like WHAT!?!?! when I read that! Good one, Ken!
All I know is if Jeff M would have perfect this chip it ,would have produced 450HP, that I do know,
just not visible to the naked EYE :icon_rolleyes:
I am curious what turbo is on that car. Or did I miss that being posted?
Tim
Turbo looks to be exactly the same as the Factory TGP/TSTE.
Thanks Kenny
