Title: New boost gauge
Post by: flybynite on October 19, 2007, 08:22:50 PM
Here are some pics of my new boost gauge. This is one of the first mods I've done to my black TGP. It's in the same place on my red one also. For the light in the gauge, I used the brown wire with a white tracer for the positive lead and the black wire for ground. These wires are located on the light switch harness to the left of the instrument cluster. Doing it this way will let you use the dimmer switch to adjust brightness of the gauge also. Install took about 1 hour and was pretty easy.

It's an Auto Meter Phantom 2. To my surprise the factory boost gauge is pretty accurate. Only a few pounds off at max boost. When your cruising around both gauges are dead on..
