Post by: cobracmdr on October 23, 2007, 01:16:36 PM
guys I dont have a tgp but I have a 88 GPSE which has a screwed up tachometer.  It reads like 3000 rpms at idle.  I know these is a fix somewhere does anyone know where it is?  Any help would be really appreciated!

Is it an analog style sweep gauge or the digital?

The digital clusters have a needle tach.

I got lucky and found one at the local pick a part for like 15 bucks. I just swapped over the speedometer/mileage screen into the one for the yard.  Presto it all works now.
