Title: Learn Control?
Post by: GutlessSupreme on October 24, 2007, 03:26:46 PM
Would it be safe to assume that datalogging results are off if the ECM has "Learn Control" enabled? I assume this is idle relearn. Mine kept enabling/disabling throughout my 3 minute closed loop run. I can't seem to view engine/vehicle speed together with any ALDL values so I'm not sure if it's only enabling at idle speeds or not (did a lot of low speed/stop and go). I don't know if it would matter anyway for above-idle speeds.

  Thats a good question.. Been a while since I played with the stock TGP code. I would assume that learn control would be for the Block Learn. I'll take a Look at the ads file and see if I can come up with anything else.

thanks, let me know if you figure anything out!

I think when I get home today I'm gonna let it idle for 10 minutes, and hopefully the idle will be set. There's instructions for the idle relearn on an auto everywhere, but I dunno how to put a manual in "Drive" lol. I realized I probably should hook the wastegate back up to the EBC instead of the compressor housing if I want to get a more accurate look at things too, since that'll be my normal boost.

Scroll down to the "How does the Integrator play into this?" section here and it mentions Learn Control.

thanks much for the link matt... it's gonna take me a while to understand all ~100 of the variables and what they do  but that definetly helps.
