Title: HUD problems, any idea's?
Post by: dogbone on November 01, 2007, 02:02:46 PM
My HUD displays on the windshield but does not read anything, it was working OK but stopped, anyone have any idea's what it could be. Is there any fuses inside it that may be blown?

Can you be more specific? It reads but it doesn't? Do you mean:

1) It stopped working totally
2) It only displays turn signals and fuel symbol
3) The speed is displayed but never changes from 0
4) It occasionally works then stops

If there is NOTHING being displayed, maybe your HUD plug just came undone. If that's the case, simply remove the dashpad, something like 5 screws and retaining clips, and plug it back in. Two screws above the gauge cluster, and a couple in the glove box.

It displays on the windshield but nothing happens, the speedometer does not work but displays, everything panic light is on, it shows everything  but nothing works so it is probably plugged in.

Yeah will do, but I'll probably replace the whole thing.
