Title: EBL for MPFI
Post by: flybynite on November 08, 2007, 02:21:47 PM
Hey guys check this out        www.dynamicefi.com           Those of you that burn your own might like it..  :icon_lol:    It's far superior to any thing on the market and It will work with V8 and V6 applications. Oh yea It supports 2bar right out of the box and I am sure there will be 3bar support also. Its full of all kinds of cool features and I THINK it will even work on our TGPs   :icon_eek:     Pretty sweet stuff       :worshippy:

hmmm...let me run this by you Adam.

I need to do ECM swaps in two seperate OBDI vehicles because they are now running forced induction and the ECM and/or .bin does not support 2 bar.

One is a 1993 LT1 Camaro and the other is a 1994 C1500 pickup.

The LT1 runs a 16159278 ECM that has the removable MEMCal. The truck runs a 16197427 ECM which is under dash and a removable MEMCal.

Do you think this unit would be an easy swap out or should I continue with my ECM pin-out research and go that way.

For both of the vehicles I was looking at the 7727/7730 ECM or the 7749 from a Sy/Ty or Turbo sunbird.

The Camaro should be easy. Repin it to a 7730/7727 and use the EBL code. You will be amazed of its capability's and it's VE auto learn    ;)    Its very tuner friendly and it's flashable (no pulling chips in and out). Not sure if EBL will work on trucks with electronic controlled transmissions. You would half to look into that. If not you could use a standalone computer for the trans and repin the harness to a 7747. Take a look when you have some time, EBL is some pretty slick stuff. :icon_cool:    later

Now that I've had more time to think this over, Bob (owner of dynamic efi) should have a boosted code for OBD1 LT-1. If not somebody's got it. lt1 pcm, hp tuners or carputing.com  I'm pretty sure that Bob has got a code for the truck to.    :icon_lol:   Good luck man
