Title: tgp value
Post by: one_fast_prix on November 09, 2007, 12:29:10 PM
well, recent circumstances might actually force me to sell the tgp that i so long searched for, a black 89.  now, i wanted to get you guys' opinion on if u think there is any chance of these things going up in value at the  20 year mark, or just as it's always been, no real value/desire for these cars.  i didn't really think the 20 year mark made that much of a diff., but one of my buddies said his firebird went up significantly, but then again there is always desire for f-bodies.

Well, I'd like to think that with time, and the decreasing number of these cars that are still on the road, that they are increasing in value.

As for the 20 year mark, I'm not sure how that really affects resale value. I think the condition and mileage of the vehicle play larger roles.

But, as with anything else, it's only worth what someone will pay for it.

Like Matt said, right now the condition and mileage on the car will have a significant impact on the car's value.
Once they pass the 20 year mark, that may change.

These cars still aren't desireable to hardly anyone...so I doubt there will be ANY change in values by 2009. TGP's might be worth something 20 more years from now, if any are still around. :icon_eek:
