Title: modulator valve line routing
Post by: stargazer7467 on November 28, 2007, 04:06:09 PM
I saw the vac diagram for the modulator posted in the How Do I secton but its locked now. I looked at my car and it has a line comming off the bottom of the check valve running up to something on the firewall just under the weather stripping, could this be causing me shifting and slipping problems with the transmission?

Unless its just vented up by your cowl, I would say yes. Find out what its plugged into, and figure out how it is supposed to be plugged in. The modulator is probly close to dieing from having a boost pressure on it vs a vacume.
