hi, im new here and found a TGP that there seems to be alot of interest in parts and LOTS of small items and motor items that r very time consuming etc.to remove and the car isnt all THAT close to make lots of trips for everyone. my question to u all is how much real need r there for parts for other group members, etc. how often DO they come along, etc? more often than not these cars in salvage yards r available for sale. now if we had a database of people who want parts and prices they will pay any time there is a parts car find we go to the list and ask these people to send or paypal would be best their money for the item to whoever member happens to be nearest the car and then takes that money to purchase the car? that way none of these cars gets to the crusher before we get the parts we need and the grand prix fan gets to make some money as well hopefully and can sell it back to the junkyard when its parted and make another $50 -$100 to boot! its right there at his house so that anyone can come buy and get what they need or gives him time to pull off all the little crap and drivetrain items, brake systems, wiring,etc that other members may want? it also may be a good way to save some of these cars? maybe do some title magic/swapping on them from scrapped cars if its a more desireable car if u know what i mean? any opinions on this? the parts list would have to be able to be added and deleted from by each individual member as to not become a mess and not create any extra work for the list moderator. like when their item is found and received they then remove it from the list themselves so its always current. well i thought i would put that out for discussion, i dont know if its a good idea or not. thanx!.......Scott
