I'm new to this forum. My friend got me interested in a TGP for sale that recently sold. I'm looking for a decently-priced lowish-mileage running red TGP near the New York State area, so keep your eyes open, as will I. I REALLY don't need another car - I have 3 vehicles already - but I would like another Grand Prix to play with and build as a hobby. Thanks.
What about one outside of New York lol?
Ya, I have been bustin his balls that all his vehicles are NA and I know he loves pontiacs and prixs, so it's about time he got another one!
Yeah, anything within 500 miles would do... Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Vermont, New Hampshire, Mass Of 2 Shits, etc.
Ah then I'm too far. Hopefully you'll find one!
Where are you located?
Never mind... Minnesota... too far for me.
LOL it's never too far, but you probably don't wanna drive this far. I drove to Ohio to get her when I first bought it. Akron, baby! Awesome town.
what are you looking to spend, because I live in NY, and I have a TGP I have been considering/trying to sell for some time.
43k miles, good condition, needs some TLC in certain areas, but it runs really strong and I've done a lot to it. If interested let me know.
If you look anything like Adriana Lima, we could settle now; otherwise, I'd like to see some pictures and have a little time to save some bucks. I'm willing to spend about $3000.00 (condition and situation depending), but IT HAS to run GOOD. Send me some pictures and information on what's been done and/or what's wrong and I'll sit on it for awhile. Thanks.
$3000 is too low for me, but feel free to save up and check out the pictures on my FQuick!

Just out of curiosity, grinders, how much are you asking and why are you selling? I may be interested in the future.
I've set the price at $5,000. Basing the value on the over $8-9k I've invested in her and the median NADAguides.com value, which is roughly $6300ish, My price is set extremely fair. However I am flexible on the price, to an extent, and may consider trades.
Just remember, whatever TGP you buy, you'll have to do a complete tuneup on immediately and probably will want to upgrade, or NEED to upgrade, many various things...mine has everything already done, including the cradle bolt recall that GM won't honor.
Ya, you wouldn't want what happened to my old prix to happen to it... that sucked... :icon_frown:
Exactly...so why not just buy one that's already finished? Totally up to the buyer, some enjoy the dreadful experience lol.
Yea, for $3000 your not going to get a very well maintain TGP, but then again your probably want to do all the fixing up yourself. So good luck in finding one of your choice.
grinders - I plan on supercharging my Firehawk this year, along with many other things... headers, LS6 intake, etc. I have limited cash, but I am still interested in a TGP. Right now, $3000 is my limit. In a couple of years, probably more.
Ya, I kinda like the fact that I bought mine all Fd up, it gives me something to look forward to and the satisfaction of knowing I restored it myself... even though I still got A LOT of work to do, it's coming along!
And man I can't wait til you get the hawk supercharged, that thing is sick enough as it is... lol Another month and it'll be comin outta storage!
You BETTER post pics of the Hawk! I wanna see that badass...I want anther F-Body lol.
Here's some pictures of the Hawk... and no, IT IS NOT for sale, nor will it ever be for sale. Right now, it's bone stock with 13,000 miles on it. It is a 6-speed with **no traction control** - a rarity in itself for a Firehawk. Note the spoiler - a lot of people who get the SLP conversion stick with the stock Trans Am spoiler, but this one is an SLP spoiler. In the second picture, you can see my recently retired '94 Grand Prix SE - R.I.P. I replaced it with an '07 G6 GTP.
Beautiful bird! And don't worry, the only Trans Am I will ever want, besides my 78 Bandit, is an '02 that BLACK, Tittie tops, leather, decked to the shit!
I have a 89 turbo G P 125000 miles cant get her started in good overall shape 1800.
I gotta call my freind up, but I know he has 2 TGP's in Maryland. 1 with a salvage title, the other with no title. The salvage title one needs ALOT of work, but can be had cheap probly. And the no title one probly isnt of much interest to anyone, but it does run, bad turbo.
I owned the salvage turbo one, and the motor was part disassembled when I got it, and I put it back together with many runs to the junkyard for missing parts. It runs now, but when you gas on it, it just pops, and backfires. I took the red hood, front and rear bumper off it, for my TGP. It now has a green 93 hood on it, and my old wrecked bumpers. But I think the guy I sold it to has a miniquad B4U front and rear bumper, in good shape, he was going to put on it.
Any interest? I can give him a call and find out..
