Did Pontiac stuff a build sheet inside the car even if it has the RPO sticker on the spare tire cover?
I have one for my car, atleast what I believe you are referring to. All the options listed, engine, all particular info, etc. right?
Yes it would have the info on it and it would be on a piece of paper. Where in your car did you find yours?
I didn't. The previous owner did. Not sure where he found it, but he gave it to me with a stack of other info. Sorry I can't help you there. :icon_neutral:
Are you looking for some particular information, or just want to have the build sheet for sentimental reasons?
No paticular reason. If it had one I would put it in a frame for safe keeping.
I think I remembered reading or hearing somewhere that they are above the glovebox?? Maybe if you yank the glovebox out it's there...again don't quote me and maybe someone else already got to it.
I tore my TGP down to the shell and I didn't see one anywhere.
back in the day the build sheet was on the floor of the passenger floorpan under the carpet. But that was back when there were not computerized assembly lines, automation, barcodes and the paperless factory. Even back in 89-90 I bet GM was running a semi paperless factory......there may not be a build sheet in the car....maybe if you ordered a TGP you could get a build sheet based on what you ordered upon receipt of the car at the stealership?
Ken
You know Ken, you may be right...that may be what I have for a build sheet. Maybe I'll have to dig that old thing out and look lol.
Thanks for the info guys! I will do some more searching sand keep you posted>
