took the engine out:

Wiseco forged pistons 9:1 on stock forged rods with ARP bolts:

heads resurfaced:

filed pistons rings for boost and installed:

top end assembled with ls6 springs on ls1 shims, valves sandblasted and lapped, metal LIM gasket:

back in the car:

the engine was really tight at first. infact it killed the battery after the first few starts. seems to have loosened up now. when I drove the car home the shift cable broke right upon pulling in which really sucked. got that fixed and now the fuel pump keeps priming which I will have fixed soon. hopefully the car will give me some relief then

a guy on 60degreev6 ran 12.2 with that similar setup... i dont believe it was pump gas but... what kinda numbers are you lookin for all said and done?
