I was just sent this PM. Anyone know if this is true? I hope not...although Jud and I had our digs at each other...he is a great guy.

Jesus I hope not. He's very knowledgeable and I enjoy having him around, so hopefully he's still around.

I also heard the same thing. I hope it's not true, but if it is he will truly be missed... :icon_cry:
Aw no way : :icon_sad: I sure hope he's still with us.
Kenny, unfortunately, it is true. I meant to make a post about this the other day, but the forum went down right before I could. I emailed Jud to ask him something and his wife emailed me back to inform me that he passed away on April 15th. :icon_cry: RIP Jud, you will be missed.
:icon_eek:
My condolences to his wife :icon_cry:
Sorry to hear the news.
Wow. That is terrible. He's definately going to be missed, but atleast he's riding the Great TGP in the Sky.
wow this is a surprise. I hadn't seen him post in quite some time, just figured he was pissed at everyone!! What a shame. I never had any problems with the guy, he was a little rough around the edges but he was old school and I liked that. RIP Jud.
Not to be morbid but what happened. I feel for his whole family. I did not know him very well but I read a lot of his posts. Guys should get together and send the family some flowers..........My condolances.
Ken
RIP. To all that know him and to all that have the great pleasure of him helping us, he will be greatly missed. As for his wife and close freinds I send my deepest condolenses. Thank you Jud for everything!!!!!!!
Rest in peace, Jud.
RIP to the man with the fastest TGP.

Yes. This is it. The passing of the torch. The TGP torch. We have a lot of great Jud posts here too. Like a treasure chest.
R.I.P Judd :(
Jud was cool because he didn't give a dam who you were, he respected you like you respected him.

I found out today :icon_sad:. What a great loss for the community, I doubt there is anyone who had asked for his help that he didn't help out, a true mentor for our community.
My condolences to his family.
Definitely True, GPchief. A one of a kind. Will be well Remembered
Hi All,
Heard about Jud. :icon_eek:
What an amazing loss to the automotive world.
Chris
:( Jud will be missed.
im glad i didnt take his title before he passed, sad sad news
hopefully a family member keeps his car and joins the board
got in contact with his wife,
Jud passed from lung cancer at the age of 66, he was diognisosed just 7 weeks and 1 day before he passed away,
he said that he killed himself when he heard the news.
his wife will stay using his account, and saysis any issues the car has will be brought up on here (their daughter is keeping the car and will treat it good)
so i guess a woman currently owns the the fastest tgp so far!
Man they allways take the good ones. I wonder if his posts could be collected and put into a seperate post or link i don't know but it might be very useful and at the same time make it efficent to see what kowledge could be used for us members i am sure he would have been honored by that.
ya, I know in the past he was helpful in a couple problems I had... it really is too bad and sad to hear of him passing... :(

R.I.P. Jud :icon_frown:
the clouds in the sky will be him smokin his tires in heaven.
sad to hear this happened.
I didn't know he was older.
I just found this out today and I'm sad to hear of it! :icon_sad:
Jud was a trailblazer in the TGP community. He exchanged many helpful emails and photos with me to help me do my GT2871R conversion, particularly all the tricky plumbing on the hoses and fittings. He was so eager to help and willing to answer my questions. Nobody else had the kind of info and experience he did with getting everything to work together.
Really sorry to hear this, he is gone but not forgotten.
