as soon as i posted this the forum went down for a day....haha no really how long u think this turbo would work for?
That would be a fairly interesting turbo. It has the T-25 exhaust housing i think. I can see the area for where the O2 sensor would go if the hole was drilled for it.
The 5 bolt flange would need to be checked dimensionally since there are two different types out there, standard and modified or something like that. Second I would not go with a claimed chinese knock off BB turbo because they are not true BB's like a Garrett BB. A Garrett BB is two opposed angular contact ball bearings in a cartrage which is a patented design by Garrett. It eliminates the thrust bearing which in my experience with wet bearing turbos is a big weak point in the design. The chinese BB turbos replace only one of the wet bearings with a pure radial ball bearing on the compressor end, has a wet radial bearing on the turbine end and still has a traditional thrust bearing.
Not only that but some (I did not read the entire auction) are not balanced and will wear out in a few thousand miles.
I would save for a Garrett GT series BB turbo I love mine and it was well worth the money. Nothing against the work that the hybrid guys do because it is a great bang for your buck, but looking back at what I went through with mariginal oiling and things like that, if I bought a GT turbo from the start I would not have had to spend so much or rebuilding wet bearing turbos and such.
Just my 2 cents take it or leave it ;)

Good Point. didnt even notice it was a chinese knockoff..
I agree, save the $350 towards a REAL Garrett turbo.
