Title: Charging System Problem
Post by: TGP Nick on March 23, 2009, 09:21:26 PM
I know its not a TGP, but the electrical system should be nearly the same; my 91 GP is giving me some weird electrical issues and I'm baffled as to what is causing it.  If anyone has any input for me, I would very much appreciate it.
Here is my problem: http://www.w-body.com/forum/index.php?topic=77470.0

rusted out chassis grounds or ground cable maybe?  You can check if the fusable links are burned out with a ohm meter.

I don't think anything is rusted out, this is an Arizona car, the underbody looks like a new car.  The ground appears to be fine.

Hmm I'll have to check out the fusible links.

I had the same issue with a Lebaron last week. And it turned out there was a bad fuse for the ignition. It was reading 9 volts until I fixed that fuse. Try looking at your fuses.

The two fuses marked IGN in the passenger side fender fuse box were blown.
