Gosh I at first attributed it to my lead foot, but i have been driving it like a grandma and i STILL cant get any better than 15 mpg in a town city mix.
New O2 Sensor
Newer A/C plugs (but thier gapped at the stock .044, could that do anything?)
Newer Belden Wires
New Crossover
New Ford Pintle Injectors
New fuel pump
New intake gaskets and check all the vacuum lines
Has a Chip from Skalor while ago, not sure if maybe that could be it, I may swap chips here soon
Have swapped ECU's for the hell of it no change
K&N Filter
New wheel bearings
New brakes, and all greased up calipers
Im running out of ideas, the check engine light has never came on, the car pulls strong, idles abit funny, but its never idled perfect, starts right up every try, nice and fast (thanks to the new fuel pump) Thats all i can think of. I have had it on scan tools and the Coolant temp sensor reads dead nuts with the gauge, so i assume its working alright. Nice and quiet under the hood so no exhaust leaks.
i drove a completely bone stock tgp today w/ 40k miles and it got 19.6. Had the stock intake and everything, you couldn't even hear the turbo and im guessing it could only run 3-4 psi... i didnt realize stock tgps were that slow! but the gas mileage was great.
i was getting very poor gas mileage... but then i seafoamed the car and now get around or above 30 mpg highway and around 20 city.
I have seafoamed it. But it hasnt had alot of miles since, but it was a good 2 years ago. Im going to try deep cleaning the TB, anybody got a p/n on the gasket for that top plate on the throttle body?
