Title: Spark Plugs bad?
Post by: Jonpro03 on June 15, 2009, 06:58:00 PM
How can I tell if my plugs are bad or fuel fouled

Is this normal for about 100 miles?

That plug has a bit of carbon on it and looks like it's getting a little hot(ground electrode looks whitish, unless that's just the flash from your camera making it look that way), but doesn't look that bad really. Is that a bosch plug?  AC Delco R42LTS is what you should have in there. ;)

What problem are you having? Or...Were you simply pulling a plug just to check them out?

Well a couple of weeks i put some 24lb/hr injectors which didn't work I was checking to see if they are fuel fouled. And thats not the camera flash.

The problem im having is vaccum leak im sure, because when i first start accelerating the power surges really badly. I checked all the lines and they're all good. My fuel injectors may be leaking, or it could be a gasket... I don't know.
