Title: TGP hit in rear
Post by: flybynite on November 26, 2009, 09:03:35 AM
Last night I decided that I want to drive a TGP home, so I jumped into the red one.. On the way a dumb azz Asian woman hit me as I was turning left into our subdivision. She claims that she never saw me... The officer said she was going between 40-45 and never hit the brakes. The impact sent me into the natural area beside the road. Here are a few pics, It does not look that bad till you look behind the bumper cover at all the bent metal from the impact...  :icon_frown:

I am sure it can be fixed that's not the issue. I THINK when the insurance company does the estimate they are going to TRY and total it out.. It's pretty fuked up behind that bumpercover...   :icon_frown:

Not to bad with minor mods..  272WHP    6 speed and low gear ratio out back make it fun to drive...    :icon_mrgreen:

That definitely doesn't look as bad as I expected when opening this thread. If it's not completely trashed behind the bumper, most of that stuff could be replaced cheap with donor parts. Our DIY junkyards are often stocked with good 91-93 B4U cars to rob parts off of, and I'm sure most in other states are as well.

I got lucky when my TGP got hit, they gave me the option of totalling it or not, i definatly didnt want a salvage title, so i opted not to total it. it was because the damages were damn close to the estimated value.
