Hey guy's this is what you will need to complete the rims to shine on your faded clear coat
what we are doing is concentrating only on the aluminum part of the rim the outer edge
1__Airplane stripper....from your local auto store
2__A small paint brush about 1/2 inch wide
3__ rag <<< in case you get it on the gold wipe off fast
4__ 2000 grit water sandpaper
5__ ballbuster or moters or brass cleaner
Now be sure to clean the rim first let dry then apply the A/S (airplane stripper )with brush to the edging of the rim
let it set for about 15-30 min i took a small piece of plywood about 1/2 inch wide and took off most of the clean coat, you might have to reapply the A/S to get it all off,
Now at the point of getting most if not all the clear coat off , what i did is took 3000 grit sand paper and sanded down the grooves flat, then i took some Brooklyn ball buster and started to bring it to a chrome finish < look up Brooklyn ball buster it's some great stuff he sent me a free sample :icon_biggrin:
