Title: Ideas for New or Remanufactured Torque converters
Post by: NTRCOOL on March 11, 2010, 11:03:01 PM
Hey guys I was wondering your input for Torque converters. I was thinking going to AZ but then I woke up :icon_idea: and decided to ask. First what is the manufacturer part number for the TGP? I also at the moment looking at re-manufactured ones on E-bay but I want some expert advice for a small budget. Also the car I am looking to put a t.c. in is my 89 which I am not gentle with at all. :icon_evil:

Contact Yank torque converters or B&M.  Other than that, try calling up the dealer.

In my black car GT3076R, 3400/3500 top end. bulletproof tranny with LSD I installed a Torque converter that was 250 RPS higher. Seems to launch better (not boiling them off as much from the start).

Talk to Dave at Triple edge performance, I go to him with all my transmission needs for all my cars and trucks.
