Kinda what I was thinkin. The TGP just needs to much love for the little time I have for working on cars. Probably be parting it out soon. Or just selling the whole thing. We'll see how it pans out.

I also want to build up a beretta/cav

My dream would be a 3500 turbo 5spd beretta.

i owned a GTZ for like 5 years, totally refusing to get rid of it...finally i do and two months later i run into this "sweet" TGP with  85K. idk, it would be a project car car for somebody, i did manage to get a few miles on it, it now sits with 98642 on it.

whats wrong. these cars are pretty dependable as long as

Cross over is replaced
Injectors arnt original
Powermaster is working ok, and the fluid is changed once in a while
Vacuum leaks are solved
I wouldnt be quick just to give up if the brakes work fine and the engine doesnt knock or burn oil. If you mean typical grand prix problems, like wacky speedo, creaks and groans and clunks, possibly rust, broken interior peices, or any failed electronics, ha, getting a berreta isnt gonna solve that, there worse.

Well if you do sell it I hope it goes to a good home since under a 100K is getting to be harder to find.

I did it but with a junk yard tgp. Only thing left on the beretta tgp related is the x-over and rear exhuast manifold. Even then I wanto build log manifolds and a better x-over. To sum it up, just using the map sensor and tgp code.

I'd sell the  TGP if I were you if not, bit the bullet and fix it to prestine. It become verry rare car. Just had a couple drop over 3grand on a 90 surburban fixing the front end, new radiator, new brakes, rebuilt trans, new cat cnverter, alighment, fuel pump. It runs like a champ and still needs body work, and looks like ass inside. So that in mind, the TGP would even be more worth it.
You might have a guy tell you get a f-body and it will be faster cheaper, but they seem like ass holes, everyones got one.
