Title: 90' TGP for sale in CA
Post by: rods9t6 on August 24, 2010, 02:14:51 AM
Hey guys... long time member, first time post!  Just seeing if there is any interest in my car that i'm putting up for sale.  It's a black 90' TGP that i purchased approximately a year ago with the goal to get it back to being road worthy.  Well, due to no time, too many other projects, and of course there is always the "money" issue, this isn't happening.  Here are the issues with the car... The turbo needs to be rebuilt/replaced, the PMIII, and the interior.  I think most of you on this forum are very familiar with what these cars require, and can appreciate just what these cars are.  Anyway, in small detail the turbo is seized therefore when the car is driven, it is running on naturally aspirated power.  The car does have a good idle and rev, and it does not smoke.  The PMIII, well do i need to say anything on that one?  (The brakes... what brakes?)  And the interior... well the front seats need some love as does the headliner.  The rear seats are fine and the trim on the doors could use some 3M adhesive.  The body is straight short of needing a paint job, and the sunroof does work. HUD works as does the power seats, but the faulty gas gauge is another issue.  The odometer reads at 106k (i think), but it stopped working.  I am asking $700.00 for the car which is less than half of what i paid for it.  I don't want to send it to the yard due to the rarity of these TGP's, but i would like to free up some parking space.  AND i'm really not up for parting it out as that would create other issues for me.  There are other "small" issues with the car that i will be glad to address should anyone ask specifically, and most if not all have been covered at some point on this forum.  I can take and send more pics of the car if requested, and it should be noted that i have it up for sale on C-list also.  Any interested parties can call me at 818-517-4147 or just respond to my email... Thanks
