WOT has nothing to do with drivability issues, rich idle, gas milage, foulin out plugs all the time... Not to mention with a better tune his car would be running mid 13s all day.

The TG160 is a GREAT starting point, But honestly it's no more than some fueling corrections and a tad more timing @ WOT. Back in the day I reversed engineered a tg160 trying to understand the changes that were made and why. Throughout this process I learned a lot and never thought I would be applying that knowledge 14 years later... :icon_cool:
And on top of that every TG based tune I have ever sold had my spark advance and a few other tweaks to make it my own. I don't think it's fair to sell other peoples tunes. Even if you give them the credit... :icon_mrgreen:
from what i'm told, Jeff M did a hell of a job making the TG160s... i've actually got a couple different revisions on my laptop, the latest one, i've compared it to AZRC.... not a lot of differences, but they are there. slight spark changes, fan temp on/off, torque management disabled, PE AFR, idle speeds, throttle follower decay, IAC steps offset vs startup coolant temp, desired boost, initial wasgate positions, a higher overboost fuel cutoff, and 1 table that is neither defined or even used from what i can tell... that's all the differences.
if Jeff M were still active in the community(again, i'm told he's not), no question about it, i wouldn't even consider selling off his hard work, but if someone wants it, and can't get it any other way, then what's the harm?
i've referenced it before when building my own flavor of TGP tunes, but by the time i'm done with it, it's 95% non-TG160.
take it FWIW.

I was under the impression Jeff M was a lawyer that paid a group of engineers to compile the tune for him. None the less like you said they/he did a great job. I also understand about him not being around anymore and if somebody wants his tune so be it.. It's just my code of ethics that wont let me profit off other peoples hard work... So my TG based tunes are 90% me, 5% GM and 5% Jeff M... ;)
Either Way guys Yes I have actually reached 13.999 with a Topgun160 I was accompanied With a lot of weight reduction and A/c delete, plus slicks. I would love to upgrade to a flybynite tune. I just have hit a rough spot with my budget so that is the only reason I haven't taken the next step in tuning. Basically Jarade I would if I were you would be to by a chip that has newer research and better output and leave the vintage parts for guys like me that are broke.
thats the thing im broke. If i had money my car would have alot of mods. thats y im running into problems with my build
Come on here some one help this guy out. I'd help but my last old TG160 went to NTRCOOL a while ago.
I here ya man but Flybynite's base price isn't bad just under $200 if I'm not mistaken.
