Title: TGP chip/computer in a Beretta Turbo?
Post by: mIch4eL on June 22, 2011, 11:08:48 AM
I am thinking about if a TGP chip (eprom) fit the Berettas computer and if the engine would run just fine with the stock turbo setup. Will this work? I may would go this route too if this will work.

I just installed a freshly rebuilt TGP motor into my Beretta, I swapped out the chip from the TGP ecu to the Beretta ecu without any problems.  My engine is cranking over but I'm not getting any fuel/oil pressure, so I have to swap over the oil/fuel pressure sensor that comes off the oil cooler to the Beretta oil pressure sensor, that should fix my problem.  I have personally seen the swap successfully run in person, so ya the swap does work, just be prepared for a ton of work!
