Title: Bad Economy
Post by: GPChief on August 24, 2011, 11:09:59 AM
What is everyone else doing in these crappy times for investing?  We sold everything and are just sitting on our savings now.

Doing the exact same thing. Got tired of contributing money each year, losing money each year, but watching my broker send his kids to the best schools and drive the best cars etc. Cash is king in uncertain times. I feel sorry for the people "buying" gold. If its not in your safe or your attic or in your physical presence you don't "own" shlt when it hits the fan. The only thing that will be worth less than american dollars are certificates saying you own gold...........

There is a grim outlook on our economic situation for the USA and more than likely it will get worse over the next few years.  After that n about 5-15 years the economy will slightly recover and restructure but will be more cautious with new investments  blablabla.... :icon_razz: I seem to have found money other places I had never looked before and that alone keeps me busy...

Wish I can get a  starter home to rent out and open up a medium duty shop like Chevy c7500 and Isuzu NPRs, Nissan UDs. I work at a diesel repair shop and the return on investment is higher on medium vs the heavyduty trucks.
