The TGP was used for several races in 89 and 90.  Not just Daytona as speculated by others.  GM nor Nascar kept very good records back then.  With the TGP sales all most non existent by late 90 there was no need to keep reminding the executives about the project and engineers focused on the new supercharged platform.

All I know was that there were two TGP's as pace cars for this race. Both were hard tops with cloth seats.  Both were 89 models as well.

Now that I'm looking at this car again, I think I was probably wrong about what I said about the wheels.  A little movement would make the circular section appear to look a little off. I can see a hint of this in the angle of my signature picture even though my car was stationary.
