Thinking of putting 2005 GTO seats in the TSTE (Heated) What do you all think?
They look sweet.
I've driven a GTO a few times when tuning them, and they are pretty damn comfortable.
I would do it.
Nice looking seats, the only reason I would be against it is because they say GTO, but it's your car, it will probably look good.
Well there are some things you just can't find for these cars anymore, a working PM III, the plastic clip for the throttle body, a working 1990 CD player, and seats worth a darn. I've upgraded so many other things, I may as well be comfortable. Once I like them I would have them reupholstered to match the rest of the interior.
The real question is how well do they fit as replacement seats?
For example... 2nd Gen GP seats put in a 1st Gen will sit up too high...

Will find out in a few months once I try it.Will keep everyoe posted, and documented.
I would love to see you get them re-covered if they work for you, maybe get the Turbo Grand Prix logo stitched into them too where the GTO is on them
Quick update....can't find "good" seats for less than $1K. 1K plus getting them reupholstered to match the interior, too much money.
Will go to a local reupholstered shop next week and see what they quote me for redoing my drivers seat adding a seat heater.
