Title: pmIII
Post by: rnm125 on April 03, 2013, 05:45:29 PM
is there anyone i can speak to in person about the PMIII.i just had the unit rebuilt,it lasted about a week and then i lost the brakes again.i did discover it is not the unit itself, it is a electrical problem.i removed the 30 amp fuse and used a jumper wire directly to the battery and the pump started running and shut off after it pressured up.after pressing the pedal 3 to 4 times the pump ran and then shut off like it was supposed to do.the 10 amp fuse has no power to it but the fuse is good.can someone please tell me what i need to do to fix this P.O.S.any help will be very much appreciated, thank you.

That fuse should be hot all the time. Looking at the wire diagrams, theres a fuseable link in the LS electrical center, im assuming is the fuse box on the passenger side under the hood. If anything just run a new hot wire from the battery.

thanks for the reply,i had already done that and so far it seems to be working fine.i had to install a 15 amp fuse instead of the 10 amp,for some reason it kept blowing the 10 amp.even though it seems fine, its in the back of mind that it will fail.thanks for the help.
