Title: Progress on my car.
Post by: SwampTGP on December 28, 2014, 08:18:48 PM
I can't remember the last time I posted on this forum since my car has been in the shop for a very long time.   But there is some good movement now and I thought I would post about it - I'll post some pictures as well.    So the brand new Garrett turbo finally decided to show up, also installed new LS style injectors (sorry their proper description slips my mind at the moment.)  A Walbro 255 pump, new tuning once it's running, a new cross over pipe with a flex joint, a 3" down pipe was fabbed up from the turbo to just under the car where a new 3" flex and cat now reside.   While doing the down pipe, they discovered the existing cat was in pieces which might have been what killed the T3 I had before.  The battery is also being moved to the rear to allow for a better air intake and adding a sway bar.     Here are some pics for you, please don't laugh when you get to the last one which is the car this set-up is in  :icon_eek: :icon_lol:

I have more pictures if anyone is interested.  Would love to know what everyone thinks..

Going by the build sheet - it's been so long, I forgot half the stuff..
So anyhow, this is the parts list on this build sheet:
Tial Q black BOV
Garrett GT2871R .86 A/R, .53 inducer 76 trim turbocharger
30lb EV1 Injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Battery relocating pieces and parts and a host of other things I'm sure I forgot.

Thanks!   The windows are tinted, that's just the Colorado limit.  I could do the rear darker I suppose.
