Since none of the service techs at the dealership seem to know how to reset the computer, I must endure the "TUNE-UP" and "CHANGE OIL FILTER" dummy messages scrolling by even after all maintenance is complete. It doesn't affect performance, but it is damn annoying.
TIA!

Hey Chuck!
Lemme go outside and check really quick. :) Be back in 15 minutes :D
What you do is hit System Check then when the Item comes up that you want to Reset hit and hold Reset untill it Resets.
Hey Mongoose...
One mistake I made with the reminder resets was to not wait until it was done scrolling and then displayed the "00" miles. It will say something like .....oil change *scrolling* 00 miles *scrolling*...then it will sit there showing only 00 miles or 500 miles or whatever. When it is just sitting there, press reset and it will then allow you to change the numbers.
Hope this helps... 8)

Hey BTW what happened to ZachS anyway? Thought he said he'd be back in 15 min :p

I have seen this many times. Was gonna do this the last time but didn't.
Here's the page from the book. I think I'll print it and put it in my glove box cause I can never remember how to do it. It's printable using right click and print picture.
