Any launching pointers anyone has would be a great help!!
Or just any pointers in general would help.

Thanks..

I'll be in my 90 TGP.

It depends what level of mods you have to your car but I strongly suggest
you get used to applying the brakes to hold the car while you accelerate and build boost for a clean hard launch. This method works well for auto trans cars. Particularly turbo charged ones. 4k rpms worked well for me. Good luck.

I launched on the brake @3000 rpms, left car in OD that worked the best for me.

Over 3000 rpms caused a spin.
Under 3000 Rpms caused a slight bog

Good luck and please post results in the 1/4 mile index when done.

Okay, here's the honest truth....kinda funny...

This was my second trip to Houston Raceway Park (but I have never drove there). I left at 6pm right after I got off work and headed toward houston. (It's at least a 50 to 60 mile drive from my house and a 70 to 80 mile drive from my work). To make a long story short I took directions from my buddy Chris who frequents HRP with his 12 sec truck. I made it to the point of taking 146 left or right. When I realized that I had just went under Interstate 10 I knew I had messed up. I COULD NOT FIND IT!!! My buddy even had the room over the track reserved. Next time, I am following Chris so there won't be no more excuses. (and of coarse some one will think this is a lame excuse) But, as soon as I do finally make it up there I will post my times.....
