I have a big problem and I hope somebody has a few ideas that might help!!! I have 2 rounded-off lug nuts 1 on each wheel. (front and rear)......They are really bad!!! Whoever had the car before me has alreay damaged the rim a little bit.....does anybody have any ideas??? I guess I just might have to take the tourch to these bad boys!!! PLEASE HELP!!! Sean Lucas
Take a socket that is just slightly smaller than the lugnut and hammer it on to it. Then you can just use a ratchet. Then to get the lugnut out of the socket you just use a punch or something else strong and small to knock it out from the back.

maybe a gator grip socket on a breaker bar, along with some PB blaster or Liquid Wrench if that doesn't work.

Sears and some others shops have special sockets which grab hard when they hammer them on the nuts, including locking nuts. If you do it yourself, make sure the other nuts are torqued down to relieve the friction off the hard to get off stripped ones, but don't over torque or else you might have fits getting those off.
Guys I have tried it all and still nothing works!!! I went to the local tire shop and they told me I would have to drill it out and replace the studs. Thanks for the info!!! Sean Lucas
