Title: 91+ GTP have a lower stance?
Post by: 1trucavalier on February 24, 2003, 02:08:22 PM
I saw a 91+ GTP yesterday and it was sittin lowwwww like it was lowered.  I looked in the wheel well and it had stocker shocks front and rear with stock silver mesh wheels and tires.  Even when all 4 of my shocks blown it still sat like a 4 X 4.  Any one got any idea?

Different factory springs have different load ratings...thats why you see some cars being lower than others...they have lower load ratings.  That, and sometimes the springs are old and weak.

also 91 and newer have i think 2256016 tires which makes the car look lower, because of the larger sidewall of the tires, fills in the space between the tire and the fender.

Ok, this is off topic but:

Someone liked my idea for a fan! :)

Do you actually have it installed?

yes chris I took your advice :D   The fal fans were $125ea wanted 2 which is a steal since the dual fan price (cheapest being $350).  Ramcharger fan was $79.99 and for 2340cfm there is no way in hell i could pass it up so thanks.  Its not installed yet.  I have to finish with the injector install first.  I was replacing my oil pump drive seal and the hold down clip bolt disappeared into thin air so now I have to get another GRRRR pissed me off  !   Fan will be in my this sat coming up.
