When i accelerate, i dont even have to accelerate hard and my engine begins to bog out....If you have any clue let me know...
to much fuel! either your 02 sensor is bad, or your injectors are leaking or your crossover is bad
Hopefully it acts up when sitting in driveway under load,
If so i would suggest a timing light to each of the plug wires
and looking for missing flashes. I had a coil go bad, first it was
just under boost then bad enought to give rough idle, and
that is how i found it. another suggestion, disoconnect O2
sensor, then pull fuse by fuel pump relay for 1 minute,
see if how car runs, that is open loop mode, if car still
runs bad, its something basic, spark, fuel, throttle position
sensor.
Actually it sounds like a plugged cat converter  :drinking:
I dont have a cat..lol....cut it off. :)
do you have a new or jeff m's crossover?
I havent been able to get a new over pipe yet......Do you think that, that would take care of the problem :?:
the bad effect of the crossover pipe are not that severe.
does the engine run to 3,000 rpm with car in neutral?
if so, i would doubt a clocked cat is problem, but to be sure,
pull loose one of the vaume lines, one of the ones out of
throttle body, nearest front bumper, that goes under
intake manifold. plug guage into hole
at throttle body, start engine and run rpm up, if vacume goes
to near 0 when engine is steayd at 2500, then clogged cat.
if your cross was leaking bad then you would not get that max air pushing the turbo therefore not enough air going into the tb. If you are not getting the correct air in the tb, + incorrect 02, and almost wide open tp wouldn't it bog when you try to punch it having too much gas and not enough air???
I'm having a similar problem right now with my car that I haven't figured out yet. When I floor it the car bogs BAD. It won't go anywhere if its floored. If I keep the RPM's below 3000 it's just fine. When I'm in Park and I rev the engine up past 3500 it bounces around on me from 4000 to 3000 RPM. Any ideas on this? Should I be checking the same things as mentioned above? O2, Crossover, Coils??? Anyone out there had this same problem?

There is a parl/neutral rev limiter on this car so that is why it does that in park

Ahhh, thanks for that bit of info. Now what about it bogging out at WOT?
I had the same problem when I got my car it would stutter really bad past 3500 rpms. It turned out that the honeycomb inside the cat was all broken up and blocking the exit. I don't know if you have a cat or not, but I would check that first. You can actually unbolt the entire exhaust from the downpipe and drop it out of the car no problem, because it doesn't go over anything. I would try taking off the whole exhaust and see how it runs from there. I ran mine like this when cut out my cat, but be warned that it's really loud.
Other than that how is the ignition system on the car. It can be cheap to swap out some coil packs or put in new plugs/wires. Just start with the cheap stuff and go from there :)
thats sooooo true and its not only for TGP's!! I test drove a couple of 3.4's and I tried to rev em up and they would cut at about 3K+. I thought something was wrong until I found out otherwise.
Thanx guys for the suggestions, i am going to start with the cheap stuf and see what is the matter, but first i am going to get my tranny fixed, so i will post alter to let you know :!:
