Well I did a tune up on her after how long of saying I was going to.
and well Its still has the Jitters.
Its now getting better gas milage but not much.
it went from 13mpg to 17 when befor I was getting 19-23 avg.
when I go to take off its like it hesitates at low RPMs anything below 2200 befor the tune up it was from 2000 to about 2800 RPMs that this would happen.
it also smells like Gas Really bad when I have the Sunroof open and I Floor it at Hwy speeds. and it seems to be laging really bad. except in the 3500-5000rpm range.
I was wondering if a Fuel filter and a o2 sencor might fix this or my Friend thinks it may be a timming sencor what do you think?
BTY it only pulls code 12 and no service lights come on when driving.
also it seems to be loosing oil in the center of the engine under the car some where but its never low when I check it? any Ideas there??
Oil leak is probably the distributor drive o-ring.
As for the problems...do you have access to a scanner? That will tell us a lot, like BLM/INT numbers, knock retard, etc.
Also, your injectors could be leaking. That's a common problem which will cause bad gas mileage, gas smell, hesitation, blah, blah.
Or you crossover is cracked. That will make it run rich.

Well today when I was installing my new K&N I noticed that my cross over sheld is no longer nice and shinny but has Rust on it now...and I think thats a indecation that my x over pipe is now bad...
and now I am replacing the back struts and I busted one the top mounting bolts...and I can only get one of the bottom big bolts out..no problems pulling the nuts off of them just cant seem to pound them out.....
but other then that in the last week I have installed my k&N my front struts, and my new tires....
and I almost forgot I got my new PLates on thusday......"1QIKSTE"

they only give us 7 slots in MN and they cost $100 for the plate.
We get 7 slots also (and 2 spaces) and our plates cost $60 in WI.
I thought of the "FAST STE" because my friend has a 93 Typhoon with "FAST SUV" plates. Of course, I asked his permission first before ordering my plates.

SO I have another Question
How hard is it really to install a Hud,
My car is not Prewired for it as Far as I can See. im getting a 91 HUD so is it just matching colors of wires and splicing it in?? Its also got a dash pad but its got some Cracks and so I was going to the JY here and trading my extra burgandy one for a grey one. and I was going to cut that one and mount the HUD defroster vents in it if thats possible.
and Im not afraid to get dirty and I know alittle about cars.
and I have a place to do it too.
Hmm I need a cross over soon too I wonder if RedZmonte could make me one with a t3 flange and so I could mount a T3/4 on it....hmm....I'll have to ask him later when I have more money for that mod...
but I supose I'll have to talk to Jeff soon if I deside that it would be kind of dumb to install a t3/4 in my car or if funding isnt there to install one.
as of now the STE is on the Road but I still need to swap the headlight harness.... its going to suck with out a lift.
also what would you think if I put a STE turbo badge under the key hole on the trunk...or would that be to much....I think it looks kindof cool but it might be Flonting it too much....
all I know is my Turbo actuator BOV is loud with my new K&N I can even hear it over my Radio..

Installing a hud wasn't that hard for me, took 4 hours total including taking the old one off, looking at my manuals, and taking a few breaks. Now I just have to get some vinyl paint for the dash. There seems to be a glow around the numbers of the hud, maybe it's just the non-hud windshield.
Also please let me know if you can get your headlights to work. Mine have never worked but the high beams and fogs work. My DIC says the low beams are out so I think theres a broken wire somewhere under the hood.

Hey what I can do is take some PHOTOS of my harnesses so you can see the layout it really doesnt look hard to change....
I also have a 92 harness too so if you need one....i just dont think it has the Hood Hud switch plug but once you got yours out should be able to change that too.....
also Check to make sure your 2 grounds are connected on the rad support wall one on each side.
I only had fogs, and 2 times my "high beams" worked but it was acctually the lows.and my fogs where off...also check your relays under the hood in the black box next to your ecm....
