Nope the nitrous isn't for sale, but the spray bar is, make me an offer I can't refuse.  :D  I am going to replace the oil line tomorrow and see what that does, so it may not be "officially" for sale yet, but it is for sale...uhh hopefully that makes sense.

THanks for posting those pics man, and we can arrange for another meeting so you can give the car a real good once over. Out of curiosity, are you interested in helping someone (no names mentioned) with a 5 speed swap?

Like I said, I really love my car, but have had hell lately with it. And ya'll aren't doing nothing but talking me into keeping it, but I think thats a good thing.
QuoteTo bad, with the juice that car really hauled ass. I would guess it was low low 14's.
With a 5 speed and my msd dis-6 pulling 2 degrees and a 100 shot, maybe mid to high 13s.....???

My TGP is for sale for 400 buck with the Topgun 160 or 200 bucks without.

Problems:
Blown head gasket (I think) ----The car cranks and starts fine, but idles rough (like it has lost all compression in a cyl and white smoke pours out the back (water vapor I presume) There is no coolant in the oil. The engine does not knock whatsoever.  See explanation below.

PM III trashed (as usual) stiff break pedal

Tranny has had a few fresh rebuilds about six months on the most recent. The Trans shop receipt has the odometer reading when it went in and it has about 10000 miles on it (a little over 3000.00 spent on trans with receipts) but WILL NOT come out of second gear.
Performance Transmissions and Auto Repair[979-864-3280] (the people who screwed me on the tranny)gave me a one year 36000 transferable warranty (printed on receipt and brief description of it) but will not honor it <---the reason I am getting rid of it
I have every original piece to the car except the headliner and am considering parting out but I don't want to destroy a great automobile. I truly know the potential of these cars and I tuly worshipped mine before this hell I've been put through.
For a character reference the only one I have met personally on this board is SleeperRedTGP (Jud) and I don't know if he was pulling my chain or not, but I think he can vouch for how fast it was and still can be. It's a shame that a shop screwed me around so much I lost faith in something I truly loved

Explanation:
I had it parked at my parents house and my dad made me take it home, so I drove it in second gear about 10 miles at relatively high RPMs (4500-5000) and when I pulled in my driveway I noticed a cloud (I mean a CLOUD) of smoke behind me and it has sat ever since. I do crank her up now and then. A full detailed Carfax report is available upon request. If I have forgotten anything, please feel free to email or PM me. (email preferred)

No recent pics...unless Jud has the ones we took when we met, but it's been a while since then...

I've never sold a car before so cut me some slack.

most of you know what a TGP is so I'll save everyone the time. Motor is strong. Transmission is being rebuilt as we speak. Top gun 160, Fast Foward Pulley. The tires look like shit. The paint is in fair condition (I'll get some pics up) 155,000 miles. I maintained the car myself. Always used royal purple. The brakes are shit (The old Walletmaster III is out, I think). The interior is in good condition but as on most TGPs, the drivers seat has excessive wear. The bottom of the front valence (splash gaurd) broke, so I cut it accordingly to make it look good. 45 degrees Nascar style spoiler.

I don't know what else to write so if you have any questions, email me.

The "screen" is nothing more than a compass and at the top of the screen it gives service reminders, Instant MPG, average MPG, average speed, etc..... I have never heard of one not working though so I don't know where to tell you to start...

Here's Jeff M.'s engine compartment. It looks pretty much stock to me. Maybe he'll cut in and prove me wrong, but it will lead you in the right direction.....
