General / 90 TGP vs 01 GP
May 23, 2004, 08:17:18 PM
Depending on the condition of your car and if the other car isn't a GTP you should have no problems. I can smoke the '04 GT's prety easy. I only have a filter, BOV and no mufflers.

How do I? / Change front valve cover???
February 24, 2004, 09:20:56 PM
I think moving that coolant pipe is all there is to it. I know it doesn't take long to do. I had mine off and back on in about 30 min when checking the torque on the rocker arms.

For Sale / Want to Buy / Turbo grand prix cassette?

I have the tape, it came with my car. It is an instructional tape that tells you how to work everything. I have the owners manual with the turbo cover and the supplement. It all was in the car when I bought it.

Suspension/Wheels/Tires/Brakes / Wheel lip polishing

I have Kumho Ecsta 711's on the front of my Firebird and they are great tires. I plan on putting them on the rear as well once my Yoko's wear out.

I am also interested in the car, I was the first to reply to your post. I am in Washington state and I have the means necessary to get a non running car back up here and cash in hand. So if you could email me some more info on your car it would be greatly appriciated. formula305@comcast.net

Thanks,
Joss

Could you please send me anymore info you have on the car? This sounds very interesting to me! Are you the original owner? Do you have any pics I could see?  Please email me at formula305@comcast.net

Suspension/Wheels/Tires/Brakes / 245/50/16 or 225/60/16
November 15, 2003, 01:51:32 AM
With 3 season old snowtires 205/75/15's only on the front I had Zero problems in the snow last year. The TGP was the car I took to the mountain to go skiing!

Problems & Solutions / PCV Valve?
November 11, 2003, 03:19:24 AM
The one you are talking about is just the breather hole/tube. The pcv valve is a lot harder to get to   Its right in the middle of the valve cover right up against the firewall.

The car handles like crap with 225/60's. I put those on it on 15's wheels because I got the wheels/tires for free. I am going back to 245/50/16's this spring.

For Sale / Want to Buy / set of injectors for sale

Do you have any clue how many miles are on them?

I suppose it is most likely that it is cracked. But until it causes me problems I think I will leave it alone  Besides I can't afford a new xover since I have to spend 650 on a new prior PMIII.

I would you think you would be able to hear the leak. And at anyrate I don't have any symptoms of a leaking crossover. The car runs flawlessly with the exception of it dying when I come to a stop, and that only happens maybe once out of every 20 times I drive the car.

Quote from: Chris AOne thing I want to gently point out Formula, is while many crossovers can be fixed with a bellows replacment, there are a few that have much more serious failures.

I understand that and at this point my original crossover with 85000 miles on it is in perfect condition. I was just curious mostly.
