For Sale / Want to Buy / Black 1990 TGP For Sale
July 23, 2003, 11:40:40 AM
Black/ tan cloth interior. 4 brand new tires (less than 20 miles on them) New plugs and wires. 162000. PM III put in about six months ago. Clear New Jersey title.  The speedometer and tach read high but the other guages are acurate. A/C blows cool but not cold. HUD works, DIC works. All lights interior and exterior work. Tape player works. It does need a new front spoiler. The driver side turbo emblem is with the car but needs to be reattached.
Engine runs fine, tranny shifts good. The car does have an overheating problem.

Problems & Solutions / huge coolant leak

it's not the drain plug. I had my brother put water in with me underneath the car and it wasn't coming out of there.

I'll try that tomorrow. If it was on the pass side I would almost immediately say water pump, but this has me at a loss.

this happens with the car turned off.  Would the drain plug be that far back from the radiator?

Problems & Solutions / huge coolant leak
May 12, 2003, 12:55:08 PM
i was adding water to the radiator and as I am pouring it in I hear water dripping on the ground. I look underneath and the water is coming out as fast as I put it in. It seems to be dripping out from around the transmission pan and oil pan almost directly under the turbo. I have been trying to find a split or blown hose (I am praying thats all it is) but I cant see where the leak is originating from.  Any ideas?

check the 15 amp fuse for the trunk release. That is what was wrong with mine. It's under the hood on the right side.

The tail lights do work.

They both don't work. The bulbs are good. Could this be caused by a bad turn signal switch?

Two questions, how do I remove tint? And both windows fall off the track if they go half way down. How do I fix this?
