I need to sell my TGP in order to pay for my college bills this semester, I do not have a choice.  I'd love to keep the car, but I already have another turbo pontiac.  It only needs a few more things to be a really good running car, I just don't have the money to finish it.

Here are some pictures of the car: TGP for sale

- Car has 162k miles (engine was rebuilt around 130,000)
New:
- Battery with warranty
- o2 sensor
- front right tie rod
- Powermaster III system w/ warranty from Prior
- Brake light switch
- Rear left Monroe Strut and mount
Recent:
- 2 front Monroe Struts
- spark plugs and wires
- tires are good
- K and N filter and breather
- turbo has low miles on it recently rebuilt
Condition
- Everything electrical works except the lumbar support and power locks.
- Car runs very strong
- Interior is nice small cigarette hole in drivers seat
- small dent in left front fender, faded paint on top of rear bumper
Needs
- Rear left strut and mount
- possibly front wheel bearing or alignment
- dash re-soldered, I have a spare TGP dash that comes with the car

Asking 1900 b/o

Email me at turbota@student.umass.edu or call (413) 546-6014.  Car is located in Amherst, MA.  Will travel if necessary.

Along with my brake problems, I also have some kind of suspension problem.  Here is how I can explain it:

Last night was the first time i have driven the car much since I have purchased it,  I drove it from MA to NY on the turnpike to the thruway then to 87.
The car seems to have the problems similair to 1trucavaleir's post from nov 12th-- squirrely rear end.  What seems to happen is I will hit a pot hole or some kind of uneven pavement, and it almost seems like the back end is going to kick out.  The previous owner replaced the front struts with monroe sensatracks.  This cars ride was pretty scary last nite going 60 mph on the highway with it wet, I almost though I was going to lose it a few times.  :?

It also has the typical squeeky noises coming from the rear suspesion. What would be causing this "kick out" feeling from the rear of the car?  It almost seems like the car is twisting.  Is it just that the rear struts need to be replaced to compensate the new front two struts?  Or maybe the front two struts were installed improperly??  I have to do something quick, or I may not be able to get home for X-mas.  I called auto zone and they quoted me 35.99 for rear Gabriel struts and they have the special tools if needed.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Murt

Problems & Solutions / Anti-Lock Light
December 15, 2002, 03:00:00 PM
Today I finally got my powermaster III unit back into my TGP.  It was the second time it was rebuilt from prior.  The first time it ended up leaking from the resevoir after a few months.  I am pretty sure i bled the brakes right, everything seemed fine for about 15 min of driving then my Anti-lock light came on.  It keeps on blinking on and off.  What would cause this light to blink on and off?  I still have good pressure, and it doesn't look like there is any fluid leaking, these brakes are a PITA!!!  Will a scanner tell me what is causing the anti-lock light? maybe a sensor or something?  I think i might just pull the ABS fuse, thats what we eventually had to do with my friends Subaru SVX.  Thanks,
Murt
