Since its still in the box, I'll sell it to you.  I bought it for $109 plus shipping from FFP.  How's $100 including shipping??
Let me know.  Thanks!

I can definitely vouch for what was said.  I bought my TGP of Ebay, not knowing anything about them other than the fact that they are rare.  If it weren't for my credit card with a high limit, I my TGP would NOT be running at all.  I spent over $5,000 just on the engine.  $3,000 in bodywork.  Now thankfully, the car is amazing....too bad I gotta sell it.   :(   But my investment, can hopefully be someone else's dream.

For Sale / Want to Buy / FOR SALE - 90 TGP

Hey guys!
I haven't been in the forums in a while, how is everyone?
Anyhow, I'm not sure if everyone remembers my saga with my 90 TGP.  Well, I FINALLY got it running the way a TGP should, $7,000 later, this thing flies and looks good.  Sadly though, I need to sell it.  I have 2 other cars already and I can't afford them all.  I thought I'd start here, mainly because you guys know TGP's and I want to see this car go to someone who will take care of it.
I do have it listed on Autotrader as well, but I've had no luck there.  People just don't know what these cars are.
Well, here is the link.
If there's any questions, feel free to ask.  Thanks!!!!
I should also mention, as listed in the autotrader ad, the TopGun chip, 160 t-stat  and crossover pipe are from Jeff M.  The motor mounts are from FFP.  I also have the under drive pulley still in the box.
The only thing wrong, is the check guages light is on.  Aparently that's a common thing in GP's.  I've had the guages checked and they are all fine.

Here's some new pics that I took tonight.

General / How much for an engine?
July 15, 2003, 01:02:00 PM
I found out today that my TGP has a cracked block.  After $2,200 went into a new head and head gasket, I find out that the block is cracked.  How wonderful!
SO...where can a get one and how much?
I have too much invested in this car to just give up on it.

For Sale / Want to Buy / Need a turbo
July 11, 2003, 06:20:29 AM
Well, I had the drain tube replaced with the one Jeff M. supplies with his new crossover pipe.  I do need a turbo.  It kinda cracks me up though, that turbo was rebuilt in 1999.  The turbine is basically bouncing all around in there right now.  With a new, well, rebuilt turbo do you get new rings and everything?  I'll probably go with Turbocity.com.

For Sale / Want to Buy / Need a turbo

I had the Jeff M crossover installed last week.  When the guy started my car back up, black smoke came pouring out of the tail pipes.  He though it was normal because the original crossover was in bad shape so there was a lot of carbon build up and such coming out.  Well, along with all the black smoke oil came shooting out also.  I was told that the turbo was bad. There was oil all inside the turbo...which is bad.  Where can I find a good rebuilt turbo?  I kinda need one ASAP.  Thanx!!

I haven't the slightest idea.  I'm seriously beginning to doubt this guys mechanical skills.

The module was replaced.  It somehow got burnt up during the head replacement process.

Okay, as I'm sure you have read my TGP has been in the shop for 4 weeks now getting new heads put in.  Well, everything is completed.  This is ALL what has been done.
I'll be as specific as I can.  Just one of the heads was cracked, the other was warped.  So, the shop found a good used head with NEW valves.  The other head was pressure checked, machined and jet washed.  All valves and cams were checked.  The heads were installed along with a new head gasket.  The car also got a complete tune-up using AC Delco plugs, trans flush and fill - new filter, coolant flush and fill, new hoses, new control module, 160 degree thermostat, 1 new fuel injector and new intake gaskets.
Okay now....I call this jerk mechanic everyday to check on my car.  And everyday he tells me, "The car is running good, but it has a slight miss under load."  He is STILL trying to find out the cause of this "slight miss".  He did check the cross over and it is okay.  I do have a Jeff M pipe at home waiting.  I am seriously getting tired of waiting, and tired of being told that my car will be done tomorrow.  Tomorrow Tomorrow...blah blah blah!  What can be causing this MISS that has my mechanic so stumped???  I want my car dammit!!  I had it registered to be in a Philly car show tomorrow!

General / Here she is, finally ALL done!!! PICS!

The black is just on the hood.  It's supposed to be a 1970's racing stripe...since the color is 1970 Challenger Plum Crazy.   It was like that when I bought the car, it grew on me so I had the painter re-do it.  I definitely gotta take pics of the car in the sun....it looks SO much better.  I'll do that as soon as I get it back!!!

Very funny!   With all the bodywork that needed to be done, like straightening the hood, fixing the ripples and dents, and also the right fender was messed up and then the paint...it ran me just over $3 grand.
Yeah and then I found out that it had a cracked head and blown head gasket...so there went another $2 grand.  I really hope I'm done with the repairs so I can have fun!!!!
