to/for me dealing with OBD2 is easier and quicker.. plus i have all the hardware here already.
I doubt i would be keeping the manifold/cross over setup so position everything so it wouldnt be an issue with the 65e harness.
Going to the obd2 pcm setup would to me , mean loosing the abs function as the hardware doesn't match. This is a common issue with guys with 97 gp's going to the 98 pcm setup. vac lines and all still there.
I go just go get a fiero , dump a L67 and bolt a turbo inplace of the down pipe, A/W IC, injectors, blah, and run 11's... or get a g8 ..
ive own 4 gp's in the past 10 yrs... 90 3.1 ,94 gtp, and i have the 2 98 gtp's currently (currently as in the last 10yrs)
Now i havent kept up on 3.1 or 3x00 tech for some years... i know it was said that the tgp 3.1 was stronger then the norm (the block that is) is that still holding true? if so was it by much to be worth? I could get 3x00 and use that as my base to dump in and work from there. Just trying to gather all the details I need to do this right the first time :)
