yeah i can take some more pictures of the car and post them hopefully soon.( a day or so)  

car ran a 15.84 that was its best, but since then the car has had a lot of work done to it... as in a turbo rebuild, it had the head gaskets done and i sent the heads out and had work done to them along with alot of other stuff

the car feels stronger now than it used to..

UPDATED:

since my last wright up i have:

Replaced the gas tank, and put a new TGP fuel pump, along with new gas lines.

I have fixed the smoking problem by replacing the oil return line, car does not smoke

and as for the transmission, i filled it up with some fluid and i have been driving the car alot around town (logged like 500 miles) and it seems to be just fine, does not feel to be slipping.


I still need to sell the car and i'm asking now 1200
this is the last time i list it on the TGP forums, i'm giving the guys that know it best the first chance at buying it

my car smokes like hell after about 15 mins running, and i just had the turbo rebuilt, your saying check the oil return line commin from the turbo cause it could be clogged,  now i noticed oil commin out the front of the turbo like dripping out, and it has to be comming out the exhause side too cause when i pull the O2 out it smoke out of there, all this while haveing the intercoller to throttle body tube disconnected. so i know its not pusing smoke through the engine.

Do you think my turbo was rebuilt wrong??  or is bad again??

it only does it when it gets hot, i'm 98% sure its not the engine burning oil cause i just did head gaskets and had the head machined and cleaned and pressure checked and the topend all rebuilt.

Its got to be the turbo , i'm so convinced but i want other imput before i spend more money on this damn thing..

I blew the T25 again and its bruning oil like crazy..  i can rebuild it again but it cost me 150 bucks for the rebuild kit and it takes a while to do.  Is it cheaper for me to have my T25 rebuilt or can i buy a turbo for reasonable that will bolt on and not be too much fabercation to make it work??

Im talking CHEAP! like 1-200 bucks max fix, i'v dropped soooo much money in this car i'm getting very fed up with it.  :evil:

i'm selling my 89 tgp, the car was repainted (red) 2 years ago and the body is in excellent shape, for some reason a little spot on the hood chipped off and is now flaking off, i will repaint the hood if who ever buys it wants it repainted. odometer reads 140k

As for the engine, i did the head gaskets about 100 miles ago and when i did that i had the heads decked .010 and i completely gasket matched and polished the intakes of the heads and intake manifold. the exhaust side of the heads were opened up so were the exhaust manifolds.

the upper plentium was powered coated flat black along with the valve covers and the 3.1 on top was polished along with alot more of the engine bay.

the cross over pipe on the car is in excellent shape looks brand new and does not leak.
the car has a 160 thermastat runs cool and the fans work

the A/C is all there but does not work, it either needs a condensor or a charge in it.

the front struts were replaced 250 miles ago along with ball joints and tyrod ends. the car rides great.

the drivers seat is worn pretty bad but most of the seat ajustments still work , the passenger seat works great. the car could use some new carpet, it has SSEI floor mats

all the electonics on the car work, the speedo is off 5 mph above 50 mph the HUD is right on

the car has 2 brand new front tires, and i added the factory spoiler to the trunk. the car now has a fixed antenna

the turbo blew up and was rebuilt 25 miles ago from parts from turbochargers.com also has k&n filter

What the car Needs:
 the gas tank is rusted out and leaks when over 5\8 full or if car is facing up a hill.

i'm pretty sure 3rd gear is starting to go out in the tranny (automatic)

the car needs 2 Rear Tires, fronts are brand new , breaks are good

the car needs mufflers,
head liner is starting to sag on the sides

i am not sure if the car has remote entry or not, if it does i do not have the pads for it

and the
biggie is after the car runs for about 20 mins and warms up it starts to smoke blue smoke. i have a suspission that something may be worng with the turbo and how it was rebuilt. it does not smoke when the engine is cold.

THE CAR IS LOCATED IN KENT OHIO 44240, i am sick of working on this car

$1000 firm      and the car did pass ohio E-check last year

it drives the way it is , just smokes i am putting a new alternator on it today

will that turbo bolt up to the stock TGP crossover and downpipe? if not, can the exhaust houseing be taken off and the one from the TGP put on it so it will bolt up?

I'm from Akron Ohio and i have a 89 TGP, in the spirng of 2005 i am gona be looking to sell the car, its in pretty good shape, i painted it last winter so the body is rust free and it has new struts, breaks, i just did a head gasket job like a month ago and now i'm rebuilding the turbo. its a nice car and everything works great. i'm looking to let it go for $2500. let me know if your intersted
