Hey guys...

Thanks for the props on the Z34.  Got a lot of miles... just bc of all the driving I've done in the past 8 months.  Has like... 145K?  Runs like a champ.  Trans shifts like new.

Just had the Audiovox 995C alarm/remotestart/keyless system installed. Two way remote, window module and the works.

System in it is sad right now.  Has Infinity 4X6's in the dash, cheap sony 6X9's in the rear.  Car is completely re-wired stereo wise.  Had the shitty Bose system, but I ran all new Monster Speaker Cable to the speakers.  Had plans for a big bass setup, so I've got two 4ga power wires ran VERY nicely, but no amps or anything yet in back.

My TGP is officially gone now.  It sat in the garage for a few weeks waiting for its new owner.  The new owner has plans for it... so that is a good thing.  But I feel like a part of me is gone.  :(

I've got the DOHC Z34, and I DO like the car and the broad power range, but I miss the turbo torque.  I miss the mystery.  I miss beating fox body stangs, and 3rd gen F-bodies.   I miss my car.  :(

Sucks now... because God knows I cant afford another one.  One of the reasons I sold was because of all the mileage that I was putting on the car.  Now I'm all moved in to a new place, and I've got a 5 mile drive to work each day.  Just makes me wish that I would have just stuck it out.  

Know anybody that has a TGP (i'm not picky! :) )... and wants a nice black Z34?   :cry:

Anyway... just felt the need to post.  Havent been on the boards for a while now because I've been so busy with work and stuff.  Hope everybody is doing Ok, and everybody is having fun with the boost.  :)

Hey guys...

The old beast has been sitting for almost a month now waiting for its new owner, and I pulled it out and started it today.

After it warmed up, there was some smoke emitting from the downpipe (?).  It was the pipe that was coming out of the turbo that had the 'chinese-finger-trap' looking kind of wrap on it.

Anybody have any ideas on to what the hell that is?   :(

I will find out tonight.  A kid from near my hometown got it.  I had my brother sell it.  Basically... my brother and I traded cars, he sold mine, and keeps the money to get his next car.  He is going to either lose his license from tickets, or not be able to afford insurance, so I think he is going to get an AWD DSM and fix it up.  Not sure yet.

I'm not going to see a dime of the money for the TGP, but in return, I get a car that I trust... that has zero body damage... that I KNOW has been maintained, and that gets better gas mileage.  From Nov. 15th - January 10th, I'm going to have a 80-85 mile trip ONE way to work each day.  Of course I'm getting reimbursed for like... 90% of the gas money and oil changes, but I still have to pay out of pocket for some of the gas.  The Z-34 is MUCH more of an interstate cruiser than the TGP.  :(

I hated to get rid of it... because it was sooooo damn fast... but I just couldnt do it anymore.  I felt bad driving it so much.  :(

Hey Guys...

Yeah... I know I'm going to miss my grand prix.  :(  The Grand Prix is a fun car, just not one that I want to deal with all winter.  It's not so much that I dont trust it... I just want to get something that I feel like I trust more.  I want to get a car, that I know what all has been done to it...  just like the Z34 my brother has right now.

If my TGP was one that Jeff M had previously owned or something, I good god damn and well that I wouldnt be getting rid of it.  I guess its the fear of the unknown.   :(

No... the 3.4DOHC because I know the previous owner.  He bought it new... had dealer always work on it.  Had timing belt replaced, spark plugs, plug wires, alternator, tires, and trans service about 1K miles before he sold it to my little brother.  My brother has had it for 2 months, and now he's going to lose his license.   :roll:

So now I need to sell my TGP so I can get the Z34.  I feel very comfortable in the Z.  I love the TGP power, but I dont trust it 100%.

That is the reason for selling.  :(

Hey guys...

Just kinda feeling out for what I can get for my car.  I need something a bit more reliable at this point, and my TGP isnt cutting it for me.  In a month or so, I'm going to have to drive about 75-80 miles one way to work each day.  I love my TGP, but #1... I'm not sure that it can handle all of the driving, and #2... I dont know that I want to put all of those miles on the car.

It's a 90 Black with tan leather TGP.  98XXX miles
It's got a factory refurbished T-25 (before I got the car)
It's got a new trans from AC/Delco (needs a trans flush)
New rear tires... the fronts are still really nice.  Eagle HP's 245/50's
DIRTY K&N
No mufflers
No sunroof
Small front end damage.  Front bumper cover is ripped.  Although I can put  you in contact with someone that has a good front bumper cover for a GREAT price.

The rest of the car is really nice.  It screams under WOT.
